THE SPIRIT OF FREEDOM

The 15" high COMMEMORATIVE EDITION is cast in Fine BRONZE and mounted on a 2" thick by 10-12" diameter black marble base.  The bronze model is exclusively limited to 100 signed and numbered castings.  This maquette is the original design for the African-American Civil War Memorial that now resides at the corner of 10th and U Street NW, in our Nation's Capital of Washington D.C.  The work was dedicated on July 18, 1998 by Sculptor Ed Hamilton.
